Kuro Hakubi

Born in Toka village near Hidden Waterfall. His mother was the head priestess at the local shrine. His father died before he was born. Kuro was well loved by the villagers due to the fact that if anyone needed help, he would give his all. When he was 10, villagers began disappearing and many thought it was caused by evil spirits, but Kuro had a feeling it was more then that.

On a moonlit night, Kuro was awakened when he heard his mother scream. He raced into the hallway and saw cloaked men dragging her out the front of the temple. Before he could move, he felt something hit the back of his neck, knocking him unconscious. He awoke sometime later in a strange room with his mother holding him. Several other villagers were also there. They waited for what seemed like hours before a woman with pink hair, cat ears, and two cat tails entered the room with a few guards. Her eyes seemed to be fixed on Kuro as she told her guards to take him and a few of the other villagers.

Kuro's mother was about to protest when Kuro stood up and said, "I will go quietly as long as no one is harmed." The woman agreed and ordered her men to leave the others and escort him to the lab. As he was led away, he looked back with a comforting smile before the door closed. In the lab, he was place on a table and given a powerful sedative. Before falling asleep he saw the woman stand over him and say, "You are truly brave to sacrifice yourself."

10 years passed, and Kuro awakens in a rundown room (still looking like he is age 10) with a Strange creature that looks like a cross between a cat and a rabbit on his chest. As Kuro looked around, he couldn't remember anything except that his name was Kuro and that the "cabbits" name is Hitomi. On his wrists and neck are gems that resembled the same gem on Hitomi's forehead, and as he rubs his thumb across one he has a sudden flash of a woman in a white and red robe. He then began to make his way through the rubble with Hitomi. Stepping in to the bright light, he has to covers his eyes.

After his eyes adjust, he sees that he is standing in a forest and starts making his way through the forest. He walks for 4 hours carring Hitomi when a small group of men appear around him, each wearing an animal mask. Relying on instinct, he creates a small blade of energy.

"Who are you? What do you want?"

"We're not going to harm you. Are you lost?" one of the masked men asked.

"I... I..." Kuro says before passing out from exhaustion.

He awoke three days later in the Leaf village hospital with a strange old man sitting next to him.

"Its good to see that your awake kido. How are you feeling?" he asks.

"I'm okay but where is Hitomi?" Kuro asks while looking around. He saw her sitting on the window-seal eating a carrot.

The old man explains what happened and where Kuro was. The village council and Hokage offered him a place to stay and a place at the academy to learn and develop his powers. Kuro agreed and began studying to become a ninja. It has been 4 years since he came to the village and now he has a chance to graduate, becoming a full fledged ninja of Konohagakure.
