| - No outside help; Ninken are considered ninja tools and are permitted.
- During the examinations, death may be involved. As such, participants are required to sign a release form to acknowledge and accept such risks.
- If the chunin exams are held in another village than your own you must have a pass to enter without being attacked. (example: if your from konoha you need a pass to go to cloud country's exam.)
