Should the subject fail its Int save, the technique gives off an illusion that lets it see what it desires most to see, be it reinforcement, the death of an enemy or other such occurrences. On a failed save, the subject either loses its Dexterity bonus to defense until its next turn, or loses its next turn but remains able to defend itself normally, at the user's choice. Once the technique ends, if the subject still lives, it suffers 10 points of damage as the illusion crumbles and its hope comes crashing down. The damage cannot reduce the target's hit points lower than 0. The user cannot know what the illusion showed the target unless he is told about it.
